         LAKE HUITES BASS CATCHES
       GUIDED MEXICO BASS FISHING

LAKE RECORD 19 lb 10 oz  - 25 MILES LONG - 5 MILES WIDE - 30,000 ACRES

One of the hottest bass lakes in the world is Lake Huites, located on Mexico's West Coast, outside the city of Los Mochis. This man-made reservoir was initially stocked with Florida strain largemouth bass fingerlings to jump start the fishery. These bass have taken a liking to the mountainous climate, long growing season and an abundant, protein-rich diet of tilapia and shad and are growing at a rate of 1 1/2 to 2 lbs a year.

Lake Huites is located in the Mexican State of Sinaloa  and hidden among the mountainous landscape. It is one of the most scenic lakes a bass fisherman will ever set his eyes on. The Mexican Government impounded Lake Huites in 1993, predominantly for agricultural purposes to provide a constant means of irrigation to the fertile fields and farmland. Damming the Chinipas and Fuertes rivers created the  long mountain lake. After the dam was finished, a subsequent stocking with a pure strain of Florida Largemouth Bass has yielded one of the best bass fisheries in the world.
