LAKE HILDAGO

Lake Hidalgo is 60 miles Northeast of Los Mochis. It originates in the Fuerte river and carries its waters into the lake. The lake is 1191 feet at the narrowest, 33,423 feet at the widest places, and extends to 6.44 miles.​ It is best known as a numbers lake for Largemouth bass fishing.​ The fishing season is Oct. 1 thru May 31.

LAKE DOMINGUEZ

Lake Dominguez, located 60 miles Northeast of Los Mochis, was the first body of water in Mexico to be stocked with Florida Strain Largemouth bass.  The lake is 1411 feet at the narrowest, 17,952 feet at the widest places, and extends to 13.1 miles.​ It is known for catching double-digit bass in these scenic waters.

The bass feed on an abundant supply of tilapia, perch, crabs, and shrimp.  Therefore, hefty Largemouth bass still swim in the waters of this lake.

​​The fishing season is Oct. 1 thru June 15.
