CORAS LODGE AT LAKE AGUAMILPA
MEXICO BASS FISHING
Coras Lodge, located on a hillside overlooking Lake Aguamilpa, is owned and operated by Mario Guevara. It is one of the top lodges in Mexico. Mario has trained his staff to ensure they care for his guests in the proper way.
Our Destination Cities are Guadalajara (GDL), Mazatlan (MTZ), or Puerto Vallarta (PVR), which are serviced by many commercial airlines. The guests are greeted at the airport by a driver who loads the gear and takes them directly to the resort. Paved roads from all locations make the trip to the lodge smooth and comfortable.
Coras Lodge provides first class accommodations, which include an air conditioned facility complete with plenty of hot water for a shower in a private bath, as well as great service and delicious cuisine! It provides purified water and ice, and plenty of complimentary beer and margaritas for your enjoyment. All of the comforts of home are provided. The resort holds up to 24 guests; and it's a quick trip down the hill to the boats.
Mario has trained his fishing guides to be on-the-water experts. The guides are friendly, energetic, courteous, and knowledgeable to the anglers.
Lake Aguamilpa is one of Mexico's newest trophy bass fisheries. The lake was stocked with Florida strain largemouth bass taken from Lake El Salto and Lake Baccarac. Both of those lakes contain bass which have Florida-strain genetics. With milder temperatures than other Mexico bass lakes, it's a great way to catch good numbers of quality Mexico bass. It is very common for Mexico bass fishing anglers to catch up to 100 bass per day.
