Mexico Bass Fishing Lakes

Lake Agua Milpa, Mexico: American bass fishermen have found this lake to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in Mexico. You can expect to catch 80-130 Largemouth bass per boat, per day averaging 4-7 pounds. Agua Milpa will continue to produce great numbers of bass for many years to come.

Lake Baccarac, Mexico: This lake is famous for the best trophy bass fishing in Mexico and is capable of producing the next world record, which will exceed 23 pounds. On this lake, bass anglers consistently catch good numbers of black bass weighing 10-15 pounds.

Lake Comedero, Mexico: “It’s back!” After a few years of low numbers of bass catches, this lake has proven that numbers ranging in 70-80 bass per boat, per day are quite frequent. Currently, many bass fishermen are catching 8-15 pound trophy bass.

Lake El Salto, Mexico: This big bass lake has the easiest access for the bass fishermen to “hook up” with the bass boats for an enjoyable day to remember. Daily numbers of 80-95 bass can be expected, with weights in a range of 6 to 12 pounds. This trophy bass lake now holds a record of over 19 pounds.

Lake Oviachic/Obregon, Mexico: Every year the average size of largemouth bass has increased. It is normal to see boats with two bass anglers catch 80-100 bass daily, averaging between 5 to 9 pounds. They are still searching for that trophy bass to beat the lake record of 16.4 pounds. Bass fishing enthusiasts from as far as Europe and Australia come for bass fishing at Lake Oviachic throughout the year.
Besides bass fishing, hunting excursions are offered at this lake. Why not combine a trip with bass fishing and hunting!

Coming soon for your bass fishing enjoyment will be Lake El Cajon, Lake Guerrero, Lake Huites, Lake Mateos, Lake Novillo, and Sugar Lake.

Mexico Bird Hunting

Each year as our fishing season (March 1st through June 15th) at our world famous Lake Oviachic winds down, we look forward to the beginning of our fantastic White Wing Dove season in the mountains of Ciudad Obregon off the West Coast of Mexico. In the fall months of October-December, we will host hunts over the irrigated sorghum fields of the Yaqui Valley with all of our hunting done less than 45 minutes away from our luxurious lodge.
Later, as the Fall months drift into Winter, we shift our strategies towards the mountains of Tesopaco and Quiriego regions as the birds begin their migrations to the high elevations. The birds are still numerous; and once again, the pleasures of hunting are located less than an hour- drive from our world-class headquarters.
If a combo hunt is what you desire, we invite you to challenge your shooting skills with a duck and dove combo that will keep your finger sore and your shoulder stiff, as both our seasons run from October 1st through March 5th. Additionally, we have our exclusive duck hunting available by airboats in the months of November through February.
