Lake Comedero is possibly Mexico’s best lake for trophy largemouth bass of 10 lbs. or larger. It is a beautiful mountain lake nestled in the Sierra Madre Occidental Mountain Range 100 miles northeast of the seaside resort city of Mazatlan. With 34,000 acre feet of surface, the fishermen can enjoy many different areas to search for that big catch of the day. The lake’s clear, cool water is teeming with thousands of hungry MEXICO BLACK BASS, which strike almost any type lure all year. Daily catches average 70 to 80 per day per boat. It is totally a catch and release lake.

Eighteen years ago Lake Comedero was stocked with Florida Strain Largemouth Bass, with some of these bass now weighing 8 to 15 pounds. Without a doubt, Lake Comedero is one of the best lakes in Mexico for catching trophy black bass.

English-speaking guides are here to serve you with a memorable bass fishing trip. They use 18 ft. Express bass boats, equipped with depth finder, trolling motor, etc. Also available to the fisherman on the boats are complimentary beer, bottled water, and sodas. For lunch, it is usually preferred to come back to the lodge, relax with more refreshments, a “bite to eat,” and perhaps a “siesta.”

The bass fishermen are provided with a clean, fresh, double-occupancy room with air conditioning and a private bath. Feeling right at home is guaranteed.

With a lake record of 18.4 lbs., there is a good possibility to reel in another “big one.” Experiencing an unforgettable adventure like this will continue to be in home conversations for a long time to come.
