Lake Baccarac Big Bass Lodge
Our beautiful lodge overlooking Lake Baccarac has views nothing short of stunning. The lake belongs to the Mexican state of Sinaloa – known for its pristine mountain peaks, winding rivers and valleys, and spectacular coastal panoramas. The lodge has had further enhancements recently, which include 2 additional rooms and an expanded indoor dining area with big screen satellite TV. Also, an outdoor porch and additional landscaping have been included.
Our English-speaking local guides are the best that Mexico has to offer. Also, our professional teachers, who are top fishermen from North America, are here to assist in giving pointers on how to be successful in catching some nice Big Black Bass.
We offer 20 ft. custom Panga bass boats on Lake Baccarac. Each boat is equipped with a depth finder and trolling motor, among other things. With this equipment the guides make it more promising to catch that fish of a lifetime. To keep you cool while fishing, made available to you are refreshments such as beer, soft drinks, and bottled water.
Bass fishing is the name of the game at Lake Baccarac. It holds the record for the largest black bass ever caught in Latin America: 19 lbs. 10 oz. Some anglers have even claimed to have reeled in trophies as heavy as 24 pounds. Back in 1978, the lake was stocked with Florida Strain Largemouth Bass. It has been rumored that these bass spawn up to five times per year in this tropical climate. Lake Baccarac’s bass feed on high-protein shad and tilapia, both found in great numbers in the lake. This permits them to grow to unbelievably large sizes. On any given visit anglers are practically guaranteed to walk away with at least one or two feisty trophy bass weighing in excess of 10 pounds. All too frequently catches weighing well into the double digits can be experienced.  Fishing reports commonly document mouth-dropping daily averages of 75-150 bass catches per day per boat.
Our guests fly into Los Mochis – a city situated about two and a half to three hours away by car.
