Diamond C Fishing
My name is Tommy Crawford and I love Mexico bass fishing! I have been a bass angler for some 35 years now. I have experienced some awesome largemouth bass fishing at several lakes in Mexico. I have enjoyed it so much that I came out of retirement and founded Diamond C Fishing so that I could share this wonderful experience with you. I partner with only the best outfitters that provide the safest accommodations at each lake.
I became a lifetime member of B.A.S.S. in 1979, but am still considered an amateur. In the U.S. I have averaged 10-12 bass per day. However, when I have gone to one of the resorts I represent in Mexico, I have caught over 200 largemouth bass in three days. What a difference a lake makes! This tells me these lakes are the best for a successful bass fishing trip.
Prior to my retirement I owned two plumbing wholesale supply businesses and also one of the most successful boat sales & service businesses in the state of Texas. Along with the majority of my customers in the boat business, we were all bass tournament fishermen.
As a broker for bass fishing trips to Mexico, you will not be charged for my services. It is my sincere hope that you and your group will allow me to assist in providing you with one of the best bass fishing experiences of your life.

SAFETY IN MEXICO
The question of safety arises quite frequently among people wanting to travel to Mexico. It is misfortunate that many bass fishermen might hesitate to come enjoy the adventures of bass fishing at such great lakes that Mexico has to offer.
The United States media has created the impression that the whole country of Mexico is dangerous for Americans to visit. If I thought a person’s safety would be in jeopardy, I would not be making trips to Mexico nor brokering trips for my clients.
People may be at risk in Mexico only if they are involved in such things as illegal drugs. These have proven to be the situations that have caused unsafe circumstances. Nearly 100% of people killed in violent crimes in Mexico are in some ways involved in the drug trade. It is very similar to the mobs in earlier years in Chicago and New York who were fighting over territory. In Mexico the cartels are fighting over drug territory.
Americans can feel safe in Mexico because they need not feel they are singled out as part of the drug cartel. The number of Americans in the United States killed in one week far outnumbers the Americans killed in Mexico over a ten-year period.
We will not allow our fishermen to “be in the wrong place at the wrong time.” During 99% of the time you are in Mexico for a fishing trip, you will be with people who will assure your safety. All fishermen are taken immediately from the airport to the lodge they have chosen.
Rest assured—drug cartels do not care to enjoy bass fishing!
The majority of any problems has taken place along the borders of Mexico. Very little incidents arise in the interior of the country. Currently all of the lodges being brokered by me are located 525-1000 miles from any border.
The people of Mexico attend to business as usual on a daily basis. Americans are always welcomed by the Mexican people in a warm and friendly manner. They are happy to see them come to their country.
